Dr. Ahmad Alsharoa

Dr. Alsharoa obtained his Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Iowa State University. Currently, he is an assistant professor at the Missouri University of Science and Technology (Missouri S&T), USA. He is also the founder of the “Optimization and Intelligent Wireless Systems Laboratory (OIWS LAB): https://sites.mst.edu/oiws/” . The core of his research lies in creating, developing, and designing smart systems that optimize available resources, with a particular emphasis on advancing the capabilities of smart systems through innovative applications of artificial intelligence (AI) and edge computing. His lab also explored applications in healthcare and transportation systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness by utilizing AI algorithms.
